Single Shaft Shredder for Processing Melt Lumps
Before
HDPE pipe extrusion lines run smoothly to extrude pipes, workers need to start the machine and adjust details throughout the process. This process generates waste PE melt lumps that form large, hard blocks unsuitable for standard crushers. Our single shaft shredder, with high rotation speed and shaped knives, efficiently processes these materials. Workers feed waste melt lumps through the input port, and particles discharge from the outlet.
Two Shredder Single Shaft Configurations
We offer two single shaft shredder models: sliding port shredder and upper port shredder. Both feature identical motors and internal structures, providing flexibility for different operational requirements.
Pre-Crushing Applications
Plastic single shaft shredders are designed for pre-crushing challenging materials including sacks, jumbo bags, tires, cable, and yarn that are difficult to process in granulators. Pre-crushing enhances granulator capacity and extends equipment and blade lifespan. Materials processed through rotating and fixed blades can be further refined to desired sizes using granulators.
Advanced safety features include automatic stop, reverse direction operation, and alarm functions to handle material jamming, metal detection, and overload conditions.
